Donna Berryhill (1931-1997) was active and lived in Oklahoma. Donna Jean Berryhill
BERRYHILL Donna Jean, born June 10, 1931 to Don & Dora Bucklin in OKC. She was a resident of OKC/Edmond area 35 years. After a valiant & courageous fight against cancer, she peacefully left us to join all the beautiful angels in Heaven on June 16, 1997. Growing up in St. Louis, Mo. & Hugo, Ok, graduating from Hugo H.S. in 1948, she attended OSU. Donna married Curtis "Doc" Berryhill in 1949, located in Dallas, Tx, where their 3 children were born. As a devoted fulltime wife & mother, she began her study of art at the San Antonio Art Institute in 1961. Her main priority was her family and, as time permitted, she continued her studies as her children grew. She enjoyed a very successful career as a national & internationally known artist. Her work has been published in art textbooks, magazines & newspapers across the U.S. Collections of her work can be seen in numerous professional buildings in OKC, local & national galleries, & countless private homes. Donna was truly a remarkable person who was known never to speak an unkind word, who saw only the good in those she met, and faced every situation with a beautiful smile & positive attitude. Being "Grammy" to 6 beautiful granddaughters was one of the highlights of her life. Part of her will live on in each of them. She was a continual source of inspiration, example & love to her 3 children. Donna & her husband, Doc, shared a marriage made in Heaven, which few people are privileged to witness in a lifetime. They lived their wedding vows and together were a stronghold for their family. Donna was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church, Edmond. Preceded in death by her parents, Don & Dora Bucklin.
