A few faint tan spots to the front end-paper and title page, a touch of rubbing to the upper and lower spine edges, else near fine, firm and square in bold green linen with a blind embossed border and gilt embossed titles and gold nugget images to the front cover and with gilt embossed titles to the spine; in a very good rubbed dust jacket illustrated by J.N. Darling, with creased edge tears, large chips to the upper spine end, nicks and rub-wear to the lower spine edge, flap folds and corner tips, and darkening to the spine panel.
