The front zip, includes the entire length of the front opening. It is a medium weight knit stitch but not a flat stitch, more of a bubble type stitch, over most of the sweater. The shoulder area is a little different (fabric), just at the top of the shoulder. There are two front pockets in this sweater, side entry in about the center of each front section. The collar is 2 1/2" Ribbed stitch, as are the cuffs and bottom band of the sweater. The entrances to the pockets are 1" ribbed stitch and inside the pocket is a regular knit stitch, the placket for the zipper is almost 1/2" ribbed as well.
