Twelve episodes featuring everyone's favourite yellow dysfunctional family. 'Treehouse of Horror 9' relates three tales of terror: Homer turns psycho killer after wearing the 'Hell Toupee'; 'In the Terror of Tiny Town' sees Bart and Lisa become part of cartoon characters Itchy and Scratchy's dangerous world; and chat show host Jerry Springer is forced to mediate when Homer becomes embroiled in a paternity contest over Maggie with Rigellian alien Kang in 'Starship Poopers'. In 'The Cartridge Family', Homer decides that gun ownership is the only sensible and safe way to defend his home and family, but the balding one soon becomes trigger-happy. 'Natural Born Kissers' sees Homie and Marge enjoying the adrenalin rush of near-public snuggling, but come a cropper when they are discovered in flagrante on the crazy golf course. In 'Grampa vs Sexual Inadequacy', Homer and Grampa go into partnership with the latter's rejuvenating potion, but can the father-son relationship bear the strain? The answer is no. In 'The Springfield Files', Homer's close encounter with an extra-terrestrial is investigated by X Files agents Mulder and Scully. 'Homer the Great' sees Homer chosen as the leader of a secret organisation known as the Stonecutters, while in 'Lisa the Iconoclast', Lisa discovers that Springfield's founder was a vicious pirate. 'Homer Badman' sees Homer accused of sexual harassment when he attempts to remove a sweet stuck to a feminist's bottom. Doh! In 'Mayored to the Mob', Homer becomes Mayor Quimby's personal bodyguard after saving him from rioting sci-fi fans. 'Dog of Death' sees Santa's Little Helper set to expire unless the Simpsons can find the money for an expensive, life-saving operation. In 'The Secret War of Lisa Simpson', Lisa attempts to enrol at Rommelwood Military Academy after Bart is sent there to be disciplined. 'Marge Be Not Proud' sees Bart considering larceny in order to acquire an expensive new video game. Will Homer's feeble attempts at punishment save the day?
