Beautiful wooden advertising coffee shipping crate from the very early 1900’s. This stunning piece contained high grade coffee manufactured by the Dwinell-Wright company (1899) of Boston, MA and Chicago, IL . The Boston facility was located at 311-311 Summer Street & 323-329 A. Street – Boston, MA . The western department was located at 216 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago , IL .

Crate measures 19” wide by 19” deep by 20” tall. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of advertising history and would make a great display for that country kitchen - a great merchantile advertising salesman display box.  It is structurally sound and the lid hinges up and down nicely.  It is good and clean inside.  The graphic has age-related wear but is still legible.  Please enlarge the photos and zoom in to see all the details and measurements.
