Supported PC/Computer Monitors/Displays:

The Dreamcast VGA Cable outputs resolution in 640x480, therefore, CRT Monitors / Flat Panel Monitor / LCD Displays / LED Displays and any PC/Computer compatible display/monitor will be able to detect the 640x480 resolution.  The Dreamcast’s graphics through the VGA cable look sharper than regular AV Composite video signal.



What about HD TVs?

Please note that your HD TV must have a VGA Port.

The majority of HD TVs that have a VGA Port connector should support this cable.  The 640x480 resolution that the Dreamcast outputs in VGA mode will be up-scaled (if your HD TV does the up-scaling).  On the majority of HD TVs that we tested this VGA cable with, it had the auto-detection and the image looked sharp (we tested this cable on HD TVs of up to 75”).



About the Dreamshell Disks:

This listing also includes the Dreamshell Disks with the latest-release-version and one other version that has better detection for first-generation Dreamcast Systems.  To utilize the Dreamshell Disks, please take-note on the following:

1--The Dreamshell Open-Source Loading Software will work with the Dreamcast SD Adapter (SD Adapter is not included in this listing).

2--A good working Dreamcast System with working laser (Not included in this listing).

3--A Dreamcast SD adapter working and functional (Not included in this listing).
