Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great, a few creases near edges; very light scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); a few very tiny surface abrasions on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)
Sophie's Choice, composed and conducted by Marvin Hamlisch, features the musical score and soundtrack from the 1983 film. The film's director Alan J. Pakula said, "There is no better than Marvin at creating a mood and adding to the characterization. His music gives the characters extra resonance, and in Sophie's Choice, his music clothes them with dignity and a sense of life and legend that will always haunt me." The film stars Meryl Streep as Zofia "Sophie" Zawistowska, a Polish immigrant to America with a dark secret from her past who shares a boarding house in Brooklyn with her tempestuous lover Nathan (Kevin Kline in his feature film debut), and young writer Stingo (Peter MacNicol).
