The Washer Door Latch is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire washing machines. Located on the edge of the washer door, this internal mechanism securely locks the door shut during cycles.

Over many cycles, door latches can become loose, worn, or damaged due to normal operation and mechanical stresses. Exposure to moisture inside the washer drum may also negatively impact latch durability. 

Symptoms of a bad door latch include:

• The door not closing or locking firmly during cycles  
• Gaps appearing around the door seal when latched
• The door unintentionally opening mid-cycle or after starting
• Difficulty fully closing or aligning the washer door 

Color: Black. Front load washer door latch hook. Replaces the original ones that were white. Note: If the washer door latch assembly has been replaced with the new style latch, you will need to order striker number 131763310. This will fit the smaller opening of the new latch.

This Frigidaire OEM replacement part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and some Kenmore models.
