This rare one of a kind softcover cookbook has a red plastic coil spine.  The cover states Federal Correctional Institution Ray Brook, New York Ladies Auxiliary 1984. Midway between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake in the previous 1980 Olympic Village in upstate NY

The back cover has some staining as can be seen in the pictures.

It is a compilation of donated recipes, and includes an expression of appreciation, dedicated "to all the ladies who are the Bureau's 'Support System.'  To the wives who have graciously loaded 50 pound boxes onto moving vans, packed up pillar and post, uprooted children and moved across country."

The book identifies the Officers and the Members by name.

The Table of Contents covers appetizers, pickles, relishes, soups, salads, vegetables, main dishes, breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, cookies, desserts, candy, jelly, pressure, beverages, microwave, and miscellaneous.

Several blank pages exist for favorite recipes and other notes.  There is also an index.
