Instructions to iron on a patch
Iron on Temperature should be 270 degrees Fahrenheit (plus or minus 10 degrees is acceptable). Make sure the garment you are using can withstand the heat.
Step 1: Preheat the area where the Patch will be applied.
Step 2: Place the patch over surface and Press for 12 seconds using a heat press, or 30 seconds using a household iron.
Step 3: Do not move the iron around.
Step 4: Hold it down for 30 seconds applying some pressure.
You cannot iron on patches to leather or nylon or any other material that might scorch from the applied heat.
The larger the patch, the more difficult it is to iron them on shirts without using the proper thermal press, which can simultaneously cover the entire design.The best way to affix big patch permanently is to sew it in place.
