• Condition: The dish is free of chips, cracks, crazing and fleabites. The outer band of gold trim is weak in several areas as seen in the photos. There are no notable marks or scratches from use and storage. The bottom has light shelf wear as expected. It is marked "Haviland France" in green underglaze, Mark I, which was used between 1894 and 1931. It's also decorator marked "Haviland & Co, Limoges, for, Willard J Welch, The Dresden" in red. Willard Welch was a retailer and grocery store in Iowa City, IA active from the 1890's into the 1920's.
