Vintage Gerzit Gerz West Germany Stoneware Pottery Wine Pitcher & 4 Cups 5 Piece Set

 

Vintage Original Gerzit Gerz 5 Piece Pitcher and Cups Stoneware Pottery Set.

 

Set consists of a wine pitcher and 4 matching cups.

 

Gray stoneware with a cobalt blue design featuring grapes and vines.  The front of the pitcher translates as " Wine in joy and happiness every hour".  The design was originally that of Marzi and Remy which was sold to Gerz in 1994 who continued production under that name.

 

Made in West Germany.

 

Original Gerzit Gerz W. Germany mark stamped on the bottoms.

 

Pitcher measures approx. 6" H.  Cup measures approx. 3" H.

 

In very good vintage condition.  No chips, cracks or crazing.  Please see pictures for more details.
