Prince Illarion Vladimirovich Golitsyn (May 20, 1928, Moscow – March 14, 2007, ibid) was a Soviet and Russian painter, graphic artist, sculptor, author of articles on art, People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1998), and a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts (1997). He was a laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2003) in literature and art. Golitsyn is renowned as one of the most prominent Moscow graphic artists of the second half of the 20th century. From the mid-1950s, he was close to Vladimir Andreevich Favorsky.
