Adam Spector Studio Pottery Creamer and Covered Sugar Set Stacking Hand Made.

This is a potter’s wheel-thrown, Japanese inspired, stackable creamer and lidded sugar bowl from New York artist and potter, Adam Spector. The glaze colors are a mix of warm browns, and blue and greenish grays with the natural, buttery color of the clay as the background. Both pieces are in excellent, pre owned condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs on either piece. The quality of workmanship and detail of design is quite evident. Please see photos for specifics on condition and workmanship. Both pieces are hand signed on the bases. Both pieces hold about 1/2 cup.

"Adam enjoys the geometry found in nature... tortoise shells, wet rocks and coral that he encounters, along with historical decorative surfaces, serve as inspiration for his stoneware collection. He uses a variety of techniques including wax resist and glaze trailing to perfect his distinctive style."
