This hard drive has been tested successfully to spin up, read and write files.

All partitions have been removed and the drive has been formatted with a file system appropriate to the drive's size (typically FAT, FAT32 or NTFS) under Windows XP.

Drives will be protected in an anti-static bag as shown. What you see in the listing photos is the same drive you will receive.

This is one of many vintage items from a computer store that closed in the early 2000's. It has been carefully stored since that time- see my other listings for more items, including many in their original packaging!
