These batteries modules will last at least 10 years and 130,000 + miles. Gen 1 modules originally leaked electrolyte due to bad o-rings. Despite this they still lasted from 8 to 10 years.  The o-ring problem has long since been fixed.  They do not have the metal coating on the sides but the most important thing in keeping the modules cool is making sure your fan is clean.

To help you keep the fan clean I will include a filter which you can vacuum in place.

To improve cooling I will include how to build a triangular wedge so space gradually decreases as air flows under the battery modules. This cause the modules to be more uniformly cooled instead of the ones at the ends cooled. This is the way Toyota battery cases were originality designed. (Optional but a good improvement.)
