Succeeded JH Johnston in 1860 and subsequently renamed JH Johnston & Co in 1882 before going out of business around 1910. Not much seems to be known about Many and Lewis had multiple potential silversmiths or offspring. We do know they worked almost exclusively with coin silver.

This fork might be a child’s fork but seems larger than most at 6 inches long. That might account for the “Willie” inscription. Weight is 30.6 grams (almost one Troy ounce).
