The editorial pieces on this TIME special are wonderfully written and endlessly enjoyable. They’re informative and full of so much love for their subject (while also not afraid to point out shortcomings or contradictions).

All in all, as a die hard Marvel fan, this was one of the better compilations and celebrations I’ve read. I even learned a few things I hadn’t before.
