Sonic the Hedgehog, Froggy, Knuckles the Echidna, Sally Acorn, Antoine D'Coolette, also known as Ant or Twan, Miles "Tails" Prower, Bunnie Rabbot-D'Coolette (known simply as Bunnie Rabbot in the animated series and initially in Sonic the Hedgehog), Amy Rose, Evil Sonic or Anti-Sonic, Cyborg Sonic, Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, Metal Sonic, Vector the Crocodile, Mighty the Armadillo, Julie-Su, Shadow the Hedgehog, Silver the Hedgehog, Chaos, Storm the Albatross, Wave the Swallow, Jet the Hawk and many more! Julie-Su is a fictional character in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series, released by Archie Comics. She is a Mobian Echidna and the girlfriend and distant relative of Knuckles the Echidna. Born the daughter of Luger and Mari-Su, Julie-Su was brought up amongst the Dark Legion. After her parents were murdered by her half-sister Lien-Da she was placed in the foster care of Simon and Floren-Ca before she was taken away from them as well. Serving as a support troop in the Dark Legion for years, she eventually left it to join Knuckles and his group, the Chaotix. Since then she has fought along Knuckles' side and continues to function as a key member of the Chaotix.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is an upcoming adventure film based on the video game franchise Sonic the Hedgehog published by Sega. It is the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), with Jeff Fowler directing from a script written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington, based on the story created by Casey and Miller. The cast includes Ben Schwartz, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Idris Elba, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, and Jim Carrey. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 follows Sonic and Tails as they try to prevent Doctor Eggman and Knuckles the Echidna from finding the Master Emerald.

Following the success of the first film, and with plans for a film series, Paramount Pictures announced the sequel in May 2020. Filming took place from March to June 2021 in Vancouver and Hawaii. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is scheduled for theatrical release in the United States on April 8, 2022, by Paramount Pictures in association with Sega Sammy Group.

In February 2022, Sega and Paramount confirmed that a third film, alongside a Knuckles spin-off series, are in development. The Knuckles spin-off would feature Elba reprising his role, releasing in 2023 on Paramount's streaming service, Paramount+.
