Sashiko Table Linens

The Sashiko Flanelle Tablecloth features a serene Japanese motif of delicate hand embroidered birds and grasses in neutral tones, with touches of plum and turquoise.  

Embellished with a traditional Nowaki Sashiko block design (representing the Autumn wind blowing through grasses), repeated periodically, within the all-over window pane design, 

hand embroidered in a contrasting white thread, on a solid Flanelle (Taupe-Grey) background in a soft Linen and Cotton.  Finished with a border of vertical stripes. 

The Sashiko Flanelle Napkin features the traditional Japanese Nowaki Sashiko block design (representing the Autumn wind blowing through grasses), 

hand embroidered in contrasting white thread, in the center of the napkin, on a solid Flanelle (Taupe-Grey) background in a soft Linen and cotton.  

Finished with a single line of hand embroidered stitches in white thread, bordering the perimeter. *Available in 22"x22" (Square)
