Vintage Faux Red Cinnabar Lacquered Trinket Box Lotus Floral Carvings : Repaired---Eight-inch square x 3 inches deep vintage carved faux red Cinnabar lacquered trinket boxes with beautiful Lotus blossom design. Contains no metal.  It is hand decorated with lotus carvings.  Unique!  See the photos.  The center lotus flower came loose and it was repaired with super glue.  Very sturdy now. 

The box lid is fitted and made without hinges.  It simply lifts off.  There is some wear to the inner landing ledge and one corner is chipped.

Note:  I recently saw two small boxes that match this box listed .  The three would made an outstanding display dresser set.
