The Ice Door Lever Spring is an OEM component compatible with LG refrigerators. It is part of the mechanism that opens and closes the ice door on LG French door refrigerators.

The spring applies precise tension to allow the lever arm and door to move freely between open and closed positions. Over time, springs can lose resiliency or become misaligned.

Symptoms of a bad ice door lever spring include:

• The ice door not latching fully when closed
• Difficulty opening or poor balance while moving the door
• The lever rubbing or catching instead of moving smoothly

Causes may be extensive usage over years or damage like kinking that compromises spring function.

Replacing the spring restores easy access to ice. This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore side-by-side refrigerators.
