The Thermal Fuse Assembly is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool clothes dryers. It provides overheating protection for heating elements and motors inside the dryer chamber.  

Causes of a faulty fuse can include normal wear from consistent temperature exposure. Overheating events may also burn out the fuse prematurely.

Symptoms of an issue include: 

• Inability to achieve proper drying temperatures
• Repeated shutoffs or interruptions of cycles  
• Loose connection or missing fuse placement

This OEM fuse assembly is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, and Roper models.
