The active substance of Bepanthen cream is dexpanthenol, located in a quickly absorbed emulsion with a low oil content. In skin cells, dexpanthenol is quickly converted into pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid is involved in both the formation and restoration of the skin. Bepanthen cream is used: o for the care of dry, rough and cracked skin; o for the treatment of minor skin damage, for example: burns, abrasions, skin irritation; diaper dermatitis, chronic ulcers or bedsores, cracked skin near the anus, etc.; o for protection of the mammary glands in nursing mothers, for the treatment of bleeding or cracked nipples. Recommended for patients treated with drugs containing corticosteroids on days when these drugs are not used, or as an additional treatment.

Compound
Dexpanthenol. One gram of cream contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol.

Usage
Always use Bepanthen cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Skin Care Routine to promote healing and epithelial cell formation: Apply a thin, even layer to the skin one or more times daily as needed. To protect the mammary glands of nursing mothers: after each feeding, the cream is applied to the nipples in a thin, even layer. For the treatment of defects in the mucous membrane of the cervix: apply a thin, even layer one or several times a day. To care for infants: after washing the baby’s buttocks and groin with water, the skin should be dried and a thin, even layer should be applied to it after each diaper change. After using the drug, wash your hands thoroughly.
