New Springs

"New Springs" is a 2009 modern, almost cubist, reinterpretation of the classic 1974 Hermès design, "Springs.” "New Springs" was designed by Dimitri Rybaltchenko, the grand nephew of Hermès artist, Philippe Ladoux, who created the original "Springs." The design of "New Springs," as does the original design, uses gracefully shaped, 19th century barouche carriages with their "state of the art" spring suspensions softening the rides of the French gentry, as the pattern for this carre̒, but rendered with bold, sweeping brush strokes unlike the original realistically drawn design. The images are in turquoise and rust panels with details in silver grey.

This scarf is Brand New, in box. The hand-stitched hem is plump. No odours (smoke and pet-free home).

This is an authentic Hermès silk carré.  It is 100% silk, made in France. It measures 90cm square (35 inches). The care tag is intact.

Please Note - There is an "S" stamp on the care tag..
