Up for sale is an Athearn EMD SW1500 "cow" Diesel Switching Locomotive.

I have oiled both motor and worm bearings and cleaned the wheels for good track contact.

This unit has die cast metal truck side frames. You know, the ones that spark going down the track? Gotta love old school Athearn! 😎

This unit is fairly clean with just some light dust build from sitting for decades.

The bell is brass.

There are no railings or grabs.

Overall very good survivor from 55+ years past.
