Antique 19c Heavy brilliant Cut Glass Inkwell Sterling Lid monogrammed
Condition:pre loved item is monogrammed on the lid. Some silver age tarnish. Glass corner have wear and old chip offs. See last couple of pictures. Some ribs have chips. Lid hinge comes out quickly and needs to properly set. Other then that clean and beatiful item for its age.
One of a kind and super heavy brilliant cut Glass inkwell. It has a monogram "Josephine" on the lid. Item lid is marked sterling and has some manufacturer stamps very hard to see they small and marking for the #71. It might be the year of manufacturing 1871. Stamped marking seems to looke like a capital"C, turtle sign, a boot".
Victorian cut glass and sterling silver lidded ink bottle. Beneath the silver flip top lid is a sparkling glass base which has been cut cleverly to look like gemstones amongst the geometric "snowflake" patterning.
