ultra rare item! authentic Victorian French with french hallmark for 18k yellow gold!

in excellent antique condition! the coral is natural and not dyed! the beads faceted. the beads are in excellent antique condition with no imperfections and no cracks, no black spots!! please see photos - the coral is of high quality ! the beads are approx 5x4 on avarage plus minus and all a little different because hand faceted - lots of work to carve each bead - would take months by hand. also it is rare to find a faceted antique coral, especially French made. not mant french items survived to our days! this is truly rare work of Art! the crystal spacers approx 4x2.5mm. the heart approx 19x17mm, the chased ornate clasp works well and has a French hallmark, the beads are strung on a chain - platinum alloy, test as platinum baybe mixed with palladium and/or silver, not tarnishing . the heart can be separated and worn on another necklace, unmarked but solid at least 14k, and large solid gold jump ring! please see last photo.

it is approx 19.5" when clasped and approx 20.61g! there are also crystal faceted spacers which were highly fashionable during that time and a faceted crystal heart with a solid gold fleur-de-lis symbol plus a large jump ring and can be taken out and worn with any other necklace or a chain you may have.
