This vintage 1980's Sanyo MS450 boombox features am/fm radio that is in good working condition with very good sound quality and a telescoping antenna in original condition. The tape player doesn't work and when a tape in inserted and the play button pressed the wheels don't turn and the player makes a brief blaring sound. Looking inside the door to the tape player, you can see it has accumulated a bit of dust over time, so a good cleaning is in order, along with whatever repair (belt, etc) is necessary. The body is in good condition with no cracks or chips, but has some surface scratches and such. Battery compartment is clean. I'm including an ac adapter which isn't the original adapter, but accommodates the unit requirements and works fine. As the saying goes "they don't make 'em like they used to." and this unit is an example - weighing 4 pounds 4 ounces. The sleek and classic retro design of this boombox makes it the perfect addition to any music lover's collection and adds a touch of nostalgia to any room.
