CROOKNECK SQUASH is a American heirloom vegetable that was being cultivated here before the colonist arrived. They were introduced to the home gardener in the 1920's. Easy to grow from seed and a prolific producer. Pretty much carefree once established. Medium water and full sun, that's about it. 40+ seeds per order.

SOW- 2/3 seeds per,1/2' deep,3' apart. Keep moist.

 

Germination 5-10 days.

 

Thin to one. Use scissors to cut out unwanted seedlings.

Light organic fertilizer if needed.

 

Height 2' x 3' wide.

 

About 50 days. Pick every two or three days when squashes are 6-7".
