This fabulous print is by Japanese artist Kamisaka Sekka. In 20th century Japan he was considered one of the most important designers in the Kyoto art world. He created a series of butterfly images as part of his 1903 woodblock-printed album, Cho senshu (One Thousand Butterflies).
