Shake, Rattle and Roll was a single included on the compilation album of the same name. The collection consisted of recordings previously issued on singles in the year prior to its release. The song was originally written by Jesse Stone (usually credited as Charles Calhoun, his songwriting name). Haley's version peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Singles Chart and No. 4 in the UK.
