THUNDERBALL

Dust Jacket in facsimile for the James Bond book first UK edition
by Ian Fleming
. Artwork for the dust jacket was by Richard Chopping.

NO BOOK IS INCLUDED, JUST THE FACSIMILE DUST JACKET.

This is a facsimile dust jacket for the first UK edition edition of the book THUNDERBALL (published by Jonathan Cape in 1961)  and the seventh book in the James Bond series by Ian Fleming.

No book is included. You are purchasing the facsimile dust jacket only.

A high quality rendition done in Giclee by noted miniature artist John Anthony Miller, whose work is all over the world. This is, in his opinion, is again, one of the best designed Bond book jackets

The original dust jacket was digitally scanned restored from an original by fine artist John Anthony Miller  and has been trimmed, enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector. It has been printed with archival inks on 120GSM paper. This jacket will come to you pre-folded and boxed and ready to put on your book. Out of the USA orders, the jacket will be sent the most economical way, which is to lightly fold the jacket along the rear flap and then insert a buffer board inside and then enclose that in a priority envelope.

The jacket is marked, tastefully only the back jacket flap edge "Facsimile Dust Jacket"  with my "JAM" monogram and "John Anthony Miller Studio" as shown. Additionally, this dust jacket has a label affixed to the VERSO of the jacket, stating that it is a facsimile dust jacket and signed by John Anthony Miller-or it will have a an original John Anthony Miller signature in number two pencil on the verso near the edge. I have marked the jacket to make sure it is not sold as an original. Removing any signed label from the verso will destroy the jacket. Signing it makes it collectible as folks are now collecting my jacket work. These jackets will never ever be mass produced and are printed one at a time by myself. All this will prevent a seller from trying to sell one these jackets as an original jacket on a book.
