Make sure you get the most out of your brush head
Over time, brush heads wear down and become less effective at removing plaque. With smart brush head recognition, you'll always know when to replace the brush head. The toothbrush tracks how long and how hard you brush with each brush head and alerts you when the head needs to be replaced. What's more, the Philips Sonicare app lets you track how long you've been using your brush heads and even order replacement heads so you never run out.

You may not notice when you're brushing too hard, but DiamondClean Smart will. If you press too hard, the light ring on the back of the handle will light up. It's a non-obtrusive reminder to apply less pressure and let the brush head do its job. For 7 out of 10 people, this feature helped them brush their teeth better.
