This is such an awesome original 19th century handmade carryall. Nice and large, measures approx 13x15 across the top and the tray is 5" high, total is 7.5".

Purchased at a local Chester County PA sale.

The wood is aged, superb appearance for age.

It is painted black, not a recent paint, but maybe later than when originally made as the paint covers some wood flaws which were likely created from wear.

Heavy wood measures almost 1/2" thick and thicker in the center section.

Versatile, awesome.
