This is a vintage (c 2000) Boston Warehouse pottery coffee or cocoa or tea mug with the word SMILE on the front. The glossy body is olive green with a blue drip glaze. The raised disk holding the word SMILE is unglazed and cement-colored.
CONDITION: This mug is in excellent condition with a few manufacturing artifacts - a glaze pop on the back and several tiny clay "dots" on the inner rim under the glaze. There is very minor shelf wear on the bottom.
SIZE: This piece is about 5" wide and 7" tall. The outside top diameter is 3 1/2".
BACKGROUND: This is one of a number of things I recently purchased from a retired teacher neighbor before she moved away from our 55 and over community to live with her son. I'll be listing more of her things over the next several weeks.
