Kitchen Gossip'n Goodies by Greenville Altrusans Spiral Bound Paperback Cookbook

Altrusa is the pioneer in women's service clubs, with the first club organized in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 11, 1917. The Altrusa Club of Greenville, Texas, Inc. was organized on March 7, 1953. Altrusa is a classified membership club composed of executive and professional women. Altrusa's colors are blue and white. The motto is Patriotism, Efficiency, Service.

The two major fund-raising projects of the local club are the Harvest Dinner and the Christmas Pilgrimage of Homes.
From these projects, Greenville Altrusans have become known as good cooks. These Altrusans have been asked to share their recipes many times. In this cookbook, the favorite recipes of Greenville Altrusans have been compiled for your enjoyment.
