Vipers Game Action Paperback Book by Robert Rostand Action Thriller Dell 1975
(Mike Locken #2)

THE SUDDEN DEAD SILENCE WAS LOCKEN'SFIRST CLUE
that the terrorists had taken the Portuguese island.

Shutters descended and the native population buttoned up tight and even the birds seemed to be waiting.

Locken, the renegade C.I.A. man, could have written the script for the guerrillas.

Operation bloodbath: Kill every foreigner on the island and blaze the murderous news to the world.

The terrorists struck with brutal precision, but a handful of survivors escaped the massacre.

Pushed by battle-scarred, unflappable Locken, the band of men and women fled for their lives across the island, stumbling ahead on borrowed seconds with the sav. age machetes only yards behind....

Book is in acceptable condition. General shelf and corner wear. Some crease marks on front and back cover. Piece of tape on spine. Some light staining on interior and exterior. Previous owner wrote their name on the 1st page margin. A few white marks on front and back cover. Spine has some issues (See photo #3). Some staining on front and back cover. Book is a tad warped (doesn't appear to be water damage, and probably just put in some ones pocket). A solid reading copy. Please see photos for details, and let me know if you have any questions.
