This is probably one of the earliest chalkboards that I've listed. Nice wood frame where the corners are cut and inserted like dovetail to secure. Then a thin metal wire ran along the outside center to secure; however, the wire is missing.

Slate on both sides; no cracks. I did not clean it as I think you might appreciate the natural wear and writing.

Measures approx 12.5 x 8.75.
