- 2 signed autograph papers by Hamilton.   One letter is secret news about Walter Hampden decided to take out "cyrano de Borgerae"...   Has envelope from "The Players in New York", Handwritten pen/ink "Clayton Hamilton".  IMPORTANT.

Hamilton was ny theatre official pulitzer prize judge.

Found in a collection of ephemera from the estate of Beauvais Fox.   Beauvais Fox (1876-1955) was drama editor of the New York Tribune in the early 1920s and a theatrical press agent. He as New York's leading dramatic critic.   Fox served as president of the Theatrical Press Representatives of America in 1929, and was also a member of the New York City-based social club The Players.
