This listing is for the lot of ephemera shown.  Church bulletins and news clippings from Chester, PA - 1911 thru 1930. 

-5 Church Programs measure approx. 5.5" x 8.5" when folded from 1920s
-1911 memorial service program for chester Fire Department program
- Lot of newspaper clippings focused on the Hotfooters Gang and Speakeasies; and the local ministers and citizen requests for heavy penalties for the gangs violence.  Noted are police that have been injured by the Gang.

First Baptist Church ministers/pastors include: William Drowns Thatcher; Louis James Velte; Samuel Draper Ringrose; and Rittenhouse Neisser. Rev. A.M. Witwer is also featured for the Memorial Service of the Chester Fire Department in Commemoration of the Jackson Explosion which occurred February 17, 1882.


CONDITION:  see description and supersized photos - clear and legible pages - antique wear with foxing, tears at the folds and edges - some discoloration and fading. Other antique wear.
