JAY FLEX SIGNED STERLING 1930-40 

VINTAGE MOTHER PEARL RHINESTONE PIN

This amazing  sterling silver gold washed pin made by JAY FLEX - CANADA dates 1930’-1940’s. There is no other on the web. 

There are 8 small mother of pearl squares surrounding a larger one in the center . Faceted white diamond cut rhinestones surround the corner of the center pearl square. Vertical and horizontal aura boreal rectangular faceted glass baguettes run throughout the piece. All intact. 

The angularity of the piece is totally deco. The play of light on the piece creates a virtual kaleidoscope of colors and changes under different lighting. 

The piece shines like the day it was made.  

Jay Flex made great pieces but was drowned out by some big hitters. Those familiar with this genre will appreciate its style and uniqueness and subtle but strong execution.  

Those into the mother of pearl or abalone and etc will especially appreciate this.  

It weighs 11.7 grams and is appx 1 oe” x 1 oe””. 

This is fairly priced based on uniqueness and condition.
