Vintage: Solid Brass On Irish Marble Miniature Sailboat

Imagine a Winslow Homer or Kennedy scallop boat on your desk or in a display cabinet/shelf.

This EUC solid brass sailboat on an Irish Green Marble base with a new black felt bottom is small. 6” high keel to mast top and 6” stem to stern but 1” wide.

It appears to be tacking into the wind with full sail.  Steady as she goes.  The ship is securely fastened by two brass screws beneath the felt.

Any sailing enthusiast would enjoy this well executed but minimalist sailing solid brass sculpture.

It weighs appx 1lb. The Seller's guess is that it is of British lineage.

Note. Brass cleaned with Marine fitting cleaning cream, lightly buffed, and Renaissance museum micro wax treated so it is ship shaped. New felt applied to the bottom. Shows some minimal sea worn minor wear and tear.
