#1 Bobby Thomson, Striking 5x7 Glossy Black & White Action Photo

*Thomson seems to be coming alive in this depth of field image.

*3X NLB All Star, played for NY Giants, Cubs, Orioles. 

*3rd Baseman, known for hitting, "The Shot Heard Around The World".

*He hit a 3 run homer in the 9th inning on Oct. 3,1951 giving the New York Giants the National League Championship in the playoff.

*At the polo grounds it was the, "FIRST" televised sporting event and was seen even by our soldiers in Korea, and around the world.

*The autograph is 3" inches long and pen signed

*Refer to Image labeled #4 - showing the reverse side of photo and notice a subtle fold, but doesn't affect front, and imperceptible if properly framed.

*This is not personalized and bears only his autograph making it more desirable.  (I haven't seen another of this dramatic pose.)

Interesting Fact Note:  This homer was contested in a scandal involving sign stealing with a telescope and buzzer. 



#2. Stan Musial- aka Stan The Man!!!! The greatest St. Louis Cardinal Player ever -

  • 3X World Series Hall of Fame member
  • This 5x7 smiling image of one of the most loved and accomplished baseball players bears his autograph.
  • The autograph "Musial" part is smeared but readable, "Stan" Fairly clear. 
  • Good addition for an entry level collector of autographs
  • Its not personalized and is in good condition


#3 Enos "Country" Slaughter
  • 8 X 10 Glossy black and white action photo of the 1946, "Mad dash home" to win the 1946 World Series for St. Louis Cardinals
  • He played for Milwaukee and the Yankees
  • Also was inducted in 1985 into the National League Hall of Fame
  • Autograph 3" Inches long and clear
  • Own this excellent quality image and autograph
