The 51's are now the Las Vegas Aviators. The Sacramento Rivercats are now the San Francisco Giants minor league team, but back in 2001 they were the Oakland A's minor league team. What is interesting is both teams have or had ties with the Oakland A's. 

The Las Vegas Aviators, formerly known as the Las Vegas 51s and Las Vegas Stars, are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. 

The Sacramento River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and are the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Prior to 2015, the River Cats were the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics for 15 seasons.
