Description

Keep open doors in their place with our handcrafted doorstop. Made of cement, epoxy resin, adorned with gold leaf, quartz crystals and crushed glass in Kintsugi style. 

Concrete has a unique texture. It may feature little voids or cracks, that can’t be considered as damage. A sculpture made of concrete with intentionally fragmented geode. The crevices gaps, little voids and crystal imprints of the geode on the door stopper are filled with golden paint, shiny gold foil or quartz crystals and crushed glass, creating the impression that golden veins run through the door stopper. Contrast between the rough, industrial gray/black/white color of concrete and luxurious shiny gold. Reference to the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken ceramics are repaired with gold or gold-like substance, emphasizing the beauty in imperfection.

The door stopper design is specifically developed for dog owners. Instead of a holder made of jute rope, which a dog can chew through, you can opt for an elegant, stylish metal handle or holder ring.

Each one is hand poured and hand decorates, so no two are exactly alike. Our doorstops not only do their job, but does it in gorgeous style. Our home decor is tasteful and functional for every home.
