    More than one place to use

    I actually bought this for my bathroom, not kitchen. Worked out wonderfully. It runs along my shower door then acts as a runner along my sink. It is machine washable in my tumble washer.

    what is it made of?
    BEST ANSWER: It is made of a low looped carpet with a rubber backing

    Do you think this would be durable enough to use as an entry mat/runner?
    BEST ANSWER: It would be durable enough, but it is not plush in appearance - more like a Berber weave and is fairly light weight. It does have rubber backing. Mine does not move around much, as I have it in the kitchen at the sink and dishwasher, pretty much exactly as it is illustrated here.

    Is it machine washable?
    BEST ANSWER: yes it is but not for small washers best to take it to laundromat
