LOT 1904 antique SINGER SEWING MACHINE PHILADEPHIA PA SOUVENIER CARDS+ENVELOPE

This listing is for the envelope with 10 photo cards of philadelphia from the Founders' Week Souvenir.

Measures approx 7.25" x 4.75".

The envelope has an art engraving of the Singer Sewing Machine Building on front.   The envelope is worn as shown with tears and soiling.   Much of the edges are separated. 

Addressed to Miss C. Geisel, Cor 11th & Thompson St, City

Inside are 10 postcard type cards, actually carstock, with advertisements of singer and photographs and descriptions of different places in philadelphia:

  1. broad street (nice old horse and buggies, bicycles, people).   You never saw broad street so empty.
  2. christ church
  3. University of Pennsylvania
  4. Washington Statue and Fountain
  5. Carpenters' hall
  6. City Hall
  7. The U.S. Mint
  8. Girard College
  9. Independence Hall
  10. lemon Hill, Fairmount Park-Overlooking Schuykill Navy

On the back of each card is a description of the photograph, and a singer advertisement.   The cards are nice with light antique wear.
