The Flowers of Shakespeare. Printed in the United Kingdom by Day and Haghe, lithographers to the Queen. No publication date, but other versions attributed to 1845. 29 plates, 12.25 x 9.5”, 4to, cloth binding.

In as-is condition, with the front board detached in some places. Wear to boards, primarily around edges and corners. llustrations are intact and some slightly torn. Each illustration is accompanied by a quote with their usage in Shakespeare’s works. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

A beautifully work in need of restoration. Most books have been destroyed to remove plates over time, so a complete and bound copy is rare to come across.
