Children should know they are protected in many ways. This gentle picture helps them imagine their Guardian Angels hovering near. Everyone has a Guardian Angel! They aren’t just something sweet we tell our children. Guardian Angels are mentioned many times in the Bible. For example, in Mathew 18:10, Jesus says, speaking of some children, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.” Guardian Angles protect us! It’s nice for children to know they are being guarded by strong angels all the time, even while they’re sleeping. It’s nice to remind adults of that, too! One of the things we like about this picture, besides the gentleness and coziness of it, is that we have two children, so we have two angels!We think this picture is lovely and comforting.
